Introducing A New Compulsory Module to be Taken By All Guys in BP108!!!

CREDIT HOURS: Hmm, I think it's a minor module with 4 credit hours lol, so no EOS exam! Haha!

Title of Event: How to apply the concept of teamwork, fun and courage into futsal


Introduction:

Pharmacists are healthcare professionals who practice the science of pharmacy. In their traditional role, pharmacists typically take a request for medicines from a prescribing health care provider in the form of a medical prescription, evaluate the appropriateness of the prescription, dispense the medication to the patients and counsel them on the proper use and adverse effects of that medication.

However, nowadays, due to the challenge of globalization and increased in competition, it is not enough for a pharmacist to survive merely with their own traditional role, they need to learn more skills and ability to face and even handle the new challenge well.

In this event, a group of warriors from BP108, which consists of all male, are going to take on a new challenge, which is futsal that they never try it before, and the results will be recorded based on the process and the outcome of warriors’ performance.


Objectives:

The objectives of this module are:

1) To improve the interaction and promote friendships between the members of BP108

2) Semester 5 to free?! ( It's time for us to do some things meaningful which belongs not only me, you but all of BP108)

3) Photo section?! ( Take pictures and keep those nice sweet memories deep inside our heart until forever)


Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module, the student should be able to

1) know and master all the basic skills required in the futsal game.

2) enjoy and play futsal very well as good as the professionals. =p

3) appreciate the importance of team spirit and promote friendships (be close with everyone) among BP108-mates.


Procedure:

1) A total of 31 male warriors are divided into 5 teams and the members of each team is shown below:

2) Each team will be lead by a captain which will be mark as * and the captain will play the role of guiding their own teammates.

3) Pre-futsal training will be held on 02/07/2010, 9am to 11am at basketball court and the aim of the training is to make sure all warriors know the basic of playing futsal, the safe way to play futsal and some rules to be followed during the game.

4) All 5 teams will be distributed into 5 different colours and they are required to wear their own colour during the match ( the colours are yet to be decided).

5) During the match day, all the players must gather at battlefield in time, which is 6.30pm, please be punctual!

6) The event will start officially at 6.30pm by speech, then followed by singing theme song and team photo section and supporters welcoming .

7) The fixtures will be shown below:

8) Each match is 10 minutes and winning team will get 3 points, draw will get 1 point and of course, losing team get 0 point.

9) The final will be held between the 2 highest points teams.

10) The awards will be given based on the teams and individual performance:

  • The Best Newbie
  • The Golden Boots
  • The Best Goal Keeper
  • The Funniest team


P.S. The details event is subjected to change. We will notify if there is any changes or updates. All girls from BP108 are exempted from taking this module... =p

I really hope that everyone will enjoy this event. Thank u for yr attention! I encourage everyone in our class to come and support the team during the match which will be held on next Friday.
