Professor Chris Thiemermann is a Professor of Pharmacology and Centre Lead for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics at the William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI) at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. The WHRI was founded by the Nobel Laureate, Sir John Vane, in 1985. Research in WHRI is devoted chiefly to the understanding of basic pathogenic mechanisms and therapeutic innovation in cardiovascular, inflammation and endocrine diseases.
